What is your background/story?
I love boxing as a fan of the sport and have done for as long as I can remember. When BXR opened I just knew it was the perfect place for me. I started off on reception at BXR, even though I was already a qualified personal trainer I needed to put some work in to be able to be ready to teach at BXR. I have shadowed head boxing coach Gary Logan and put so much work into becoming the coach I am today. I have worked hard to make my life full of things that make me feel happy and strong and for me there is no better place than in a boxing gym surrounded by people that inspire me every day.
What is your proudest achievement?
I have become a qualified England Boxing Coach which was a huge achievement for me and something that I never would have thought I would end up doing a few years ago if somebody would have told me I wouldn’t have believed them.

What’s your favourite / least favourite exercise?
I love to skip, especially as it was something I couldn’t do when I was a kid. I have practiced and worked on it and now I’m confident I could teach anybody to skip because if I can learn, anybody can!
What aspect of training do you pride yourself on / bring to your classes?
I think people walk out of my class feeling better when they did when they came in.
When are your classes?
Monday’s 1pm, Wednesdays 6pm, Saturday’s 10 and 12.
What’s your music style in class?
It’s mostly hip-hop! I go between old school hip-hop and new stuff and try to create an energetic vibe that makes you feel focused at the same time.
Describe your class in three words
Energetic, technical, stress relieving
What’s your naughty cheat meal?
I love to eat everything! But if I had to pick one thing it would be cookies!
Where can we find you at the weekend?
I have always been a huge boxing fan, I love watching fights, old press conferences, documentaries on fighters. So, you can normally find me at home watching stuff online. I have just started to make videos for a boxing YouTube channel ‘Behind the Gloves’ that I have been watching for years! So, these days I am actually at fights doing interviews and not just watching them at home which feels crazy!
One thing you can’t live without?
2 things people don’t know about you?
I have a twin brother and he is the whole reason I love boxing, it’s what we have in common. I can be really shy, but I work on it and I push myself out of my comfort zone all of the time. I force myself to do the things I’m scared to do and nobody would know how terrified I was before doing it.
Come and train with me because...
I will make you feel confident and strong and feel like that goal that you have in your head is actually something you can do. I will back you up and make sure you get there!
