PAULINA KLOSKOWSKA

BXR London

BACKGROUND

Paulina is a highly qualified Doctor of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy specialising in sports injuries. She is also an active physiotherapist and researcher, with an interest in the biomechanical links between movement and injury. Her clinical approach to each individual patient always includes the latest evidence, which in combination with her vast experience leads to an effective and comprehensive treatment process.

Paulina qualified as a physiotherapist in 2009 in Poland. She immediately started working with amateur athletes (including Polish Wheelchair Rugby team) and shortly after started her MSc degree, which she graduated from in 2011. Her passion for science and sports related injuries led her to commence a full-time PhD at the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), where she investigated the biomechanical signatures of groin pain in athletes while still working clinically with patients in private practices around London.

During her PhD Paulina has worked with a number of athletes, including top football, rugby and hockey clubs in UK. Her innovative research and novel approach to injury has led to presenting her research on a number of National and International Sports Medicine Conferences and gaining a strong international recognition as a researcher. She graduated with a title of Doctor of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2015, and is still associated with QMUL as an Honorary Lecturer.
